! Re-opening in March !
Starting March 5, 6, 7 Sheep & Shawl will be open again 1:00 – 5:00 Fri, Sat, Sun through March 28. Gift certificates must be used by March 31.
I will be restricting the number of shoppers to 2 at a time, and require masks to be worn over nose and mouth the entire time. I also ask that everyone who enters use the hand sanitizer provided.
I’ll be so excited to see you again!
I’m adding titles to Etsy at least several times per week, but it’s a slow process! If you remember a pattern or book in the store, or just describe to me in an email what you’re looking for, I’ll do my best to help you find it if you want curbside pickup! email@example.com
I am reopening for 2 people at a time for weekend afternoons 1:00 – 5:00 in March. Taking your orders by phone & email & at the door may take longer than you expect as I still work alone, but I’m in the shop Tue, Wed, Thu 10 – 4 plus the new open hours. Thanks in advance for your understanding and patience.
SHEEP & SHAWL IS FOR SALE!
HOW TO KEEP SHOPPING WITH SHEEP & SHAWL
Yes, Sheep & Shawl in South Deerfield, MA is for sale – ideally with an offer by the end of March 2021. Gift certificates must be used by March 31! Etsy will not allow shop-specific gift certificates, so browse on Etsy, then call 413-397-3680 if you’re going to use a gift certificate.
Call or email to ask for help with products not on Etsy – I can bring items to the door for curbside shopping Tue, Wed, Thu (10 – 4) if you’re unable to come in on weekend afternoons in March (Fr – Sun 1:00 – 5:00). We still have handmade goods in the shop – handknits, handwoven towels, MA-made throws & scarves. Please call 413-397-3680 or email firstname.lastname@example.org or use the Etsy shop (24 hrs/day) to make your purchases, with curbside pickup or USPS mail.
I have loved being connected to you all with knitting, classes, events, and other fibery goodness for the past 7+ years. It is bittersweet, but it’s time for me to “move on.” I will be in the shop as usual to fill your orders and help you with knitting questions through the end of March.
I am retiring and my fervent wish is for someone to buy Sheep & Shawl and continue it as a local yarn shop in its current location. I am honored to be a part of the fiber artists and vendors in this area and I’ve worked hard to build the business and community connections. I know the shop is well loved – thank you all!
If you or anyone you know is interested, please contact me as soon as possible at 413-397-3680 or email@example.com
. A prospectus is available with more details about purchasing the shop. I am happy to give advice to the new owner and come back to teach.
If I have no promising offers to purchase the business by the beginning of March, I will begin discounts for customers and consider individual offers for purchase of furniture to pick up in April. In April, I will sell bulk lots from my inventory and the rest of the furnishings.
Otherwise, the shop will close its doors March 31 and continue as an online-only shop on Etsy. Sheep & Shawl has a 5-star following on Etsy. If you haven’t been to visit there yet – sheepandshawl.etsy.com – it’s worth your while!
Curbside pickup and shipping will continue. The Sheep & Shawl Etsy shop at https://www.etsy.com/shop/sheepandshawl/ is your easiest way to shop, and you can message me for curbside pickup (I refund your shipping costs).
I work alone, including restocking the shop, relisting on Etsy, and filling orders and answering questions from both shops. I will try to answer your phone calls and emails as soon as possible. Thank you!
I am listing more items on Etsy weekly and still filling your orders by:
- phone – 413-397-3680 – and
- email – firstname.lastname@example.org
- with curbside pickup or mail delivery
- The Etsy shop – sheepandshawl.etsy.com – allows you to see actual colors and quantities of yarns (books, magazines, buttons) that I’ve been able to list online (much quicker than a phone call if you don’t need advice or items not yet on Etsy). See the new web page in the menu above – “What’s on Etsy” – to see what I’ve added. If you want to pick up your Etsy order, just message me in your order and I’ll refund your shipping costs and set up a pickup time with you. (Etsy does not have a “pickup in shop” option.)
Outdoor Crafts Circle – We are not offering group circle at this time. See you in the Spring!
Outdoor Classes – We are not offering classes at this time.
